Mewgenics is Edmund McMillen's latest cat-themed strategic roguelike (from the creator of The Binding of Isaac). Breed cats, build your team, manage your home — then send them into grid-based turn-by-turn combat. Each cat can only fight once. Every generation is a fresh start.

About Mewgenics
Mewgenics is a cat-themed strategic roguelike developed by Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel, currently in Early Access. The game revolves around three core systems:
Breeding & Genetics — In Mewgenics, kittens inherit stats and abilities from their parents. Pairing choices directly determine offspring strength. Inbreeding increases mutation risk, but some mutations are powerful traits. See the Mutations database and Breeding guide.
Grid-based Tactical Combat — Positioning, mana management, and class synergies all matter. Each cat can only fight once before retiring, so you must keep breeding new cats to maintain your roster. See Classes & Abilities and the Combat guide.
Home Management — Place furniture to tune house stats, affecting breeding outcomes and cat morale. Combine set bonuses for extra effects.
