Furniture & Cattery Guide
Your cattery is where your cats live between runs. Decorating it with furniture isn’t just cosmetic — furniture provides stat bonuses that affect your cats’ daily life and growth. A well-built cattery directly supports better runs.
Furniture Stats Explained
Each piece of furniture boosts one or more cattery stats. These are separate from combat stats and shape how your cats rest, grow, and prepare for runs.
- Comfort — The most common stat. Affects cat happiness and rest quality. Think of it as the foundation — a high-Comfort cattery keeps your cats in top shape.
- Appeal — Visual attractiveness that influences visitors and attraction. A secondary but noticeable stat.
- Stimulation — Keeps cats active and engaged. Reduces boredom — cats that are stimulated grow and interact better.
- Health — Directly affects cat physical condition and recovery. Relatively few furniture pieces carry this stat, which makes them valuable.
- Evolution — Influences mutation and evolution chances. If you’re serious about breeding, this is the stat to chase.
A handful of unique furniture has special stats like Food Storage (food capacity for your cattery), Fight Bonus Rewards (extra loot from battles), Fight Risk (battle difficulty), and Breed Suppression (controls breeding).
Themed Sets — But No Set Bonus
Furniture comes in themed groups (Spider, Bone, Crystal, Robo, etc.), and collecting matching pieces creates a cohesive room aesthetic. However, unlike equipment, furniture has NO set bonus mechanic. There’s no reward for completing a set — pick furniture purely based on stats and looks.
Rare Variants
Almost every piece of furniture can appear as a rare variant. Same stats, but a visually distinct appearance. Collecting rare variants adds a long-term goal for completionists without affecting gameplay.
Special Furniture to Know
A few notable pieces:
- Poop — The only furniture with negative stats (Comfort and Health penalties). Your cats produce these — clean them up before they tank your cattery stats.
- Food Box — Massive Food Storage boost. Essential for sustaining large catteries.
- Comfort Idol — Pure Comfort piece. Good for rounding out cattery happiness.
Cattery Optimization by Playstyle
How you furnish your cattery depends on what you care about:
- Breeders: Stack Evolution and Health furniture. Mutation probability and cat recovery between breeding cycles matter most.
- Fighters: Prioritize Comfort (keeps cats combat-ready) and look for the rare Fight Bonus Rewards furniture that boosts loot from runs.
- Collectors/decorators: Go all-in on themed sets and rare variants. It doesn’t give you a mechanical advantage, but a well-themed cattery is its own reward.
For most players, a balanced setup with Comfort as the primary stat and a healthy mix of Stimulation and Appeal is the pragmatic choice.
